For our location in Cairo, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced
Senior HR Business Partner to join our new team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to management in various departments on all HR-related matters, especially on creating the sonnen team of many new joiners. This role involves also identifying development needs, initiating and conducting leadership training, assisting the Talent Acquisition team in recruitment, and contributing to disciplinary actions and organizational design.
What You Will Do To Help Drive Energy Transition
- You will provide competent advice and support to managers in Egypt and Germany on local HR issues such as employee relations, disciplinary matters, and legal questions.
- You will create local policies in line with sonnen's overall processes which will provide guidance and support for employees and line managers.
- You will assess the development needs of managers and employees in the assigned departments for further training and qualification, aligned with the strategic direction and needs of the departments.
- You will initiate and conduct training for managers on topics such as performance management, leadership, disciplinary actions, communication, and conflict resolution.
- You will participate in recruitment interviews and decisions on the hiring of new managers in collaboration with the Talent Acquisition team and hiring managers.
- You will assist in the development and determination of disciplinary actions (including terminations and severance agreements) in cooperation with the departments, following established approval processes.
- You will advise departments on building efficient organizational structures and designing the organization, considering growth and the company's global orientation.
- You will contribute to the development of the workforce planning for the departments in collaboration with department heads, and monitor the adherence to approved personnel cost budgets, including support for departments during the salary increase process.
What You Will Need On This Journey
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Master’s degree or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar HR role, preferably in a multinational company.
- Strong knowledge of Egyptian labor laws, payroll and reward practice as well as HR best practices.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects and priorities effectively.
- Fluency in both English and Arabic are essential.
