As a Vendor Performance Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that Digital & Technology vendor services meet business needs, track vendor contracts and terms, and budgeting. This job will also have responsibility for operational support with vendor relationships, working directly with the vendor client relationship role and to ensure day-to-day oversight and management in meeting performance expectations outlined in the service level agreement (SLA), contract and governance documentation. The role will support DTPS Platforms in establishing Key Business Indicators (KBIs) for each of the Strategic Vendors and managing their performance, ensuring continuous quality improvement plans. The successful candidate will define measures to improve vendor performance and drives the rollout across DTPS.
YOUR KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provides holistic insights into Digital & Technology vendor performance and spends to establish and implement a streamlined vendor management framework and support regularly on cost and value optimization process
• Supports and collaborates with DTPS Finance, resources managing operational vendor interactions, and solution portfolio management to align operational management with strategic intent
• Support in vendor onboarding process
• Owns and maintains vendor segmentation, scorecards and dashboards
• Owns and maintains contractual vendor governance and associated reporting
• Monitors contracts and their Service Level Agreements (SLAs), with key emphasis on cost effectiveness and time to resolve requests (incidents, provisioning, etc.). Ensures operational SLAs norms and breaks are reviewed internally and with the vendor, seeking improvements, cost returns, resolving disagreements, managing issues, etc. and providing metrics that may lead to contract changes
• Manages and monitors vendor risk, ensuring third-party products, IT vendors and service providers do not result in business disruption or financial and reputational damage
• Ensures delivery problems are escalated as necessary to affect minimal impact
• Organize and chair strategic vendor governance routines (monthly and/or quarterly): manage periodic reviews, share metrics, define action plans and monitors actions.
• Engages key stakeholders to review operational progress
• Participates in Internal Audits and assists to respond to Internal Audit
ARE THESE YOUR SECRET INGREDIENTS?
• Bachelor’s degree in finance or procurement field; Master’s preferred
• 5+ years of experience in the IT Services Industry working with leading Vendors in consulting & software
• 5+ years’ experience in Vendor management (RFPs, RFQs, vendor evaluation and performance monitoring/reporting)
• Good level of knowledge in agile (SAFe) and DevOps concepts
• Strong communication and collaboration skills with internal stakeholders and vendors
• The role requires a broad technical skill set- a balance between a very strong overall understanding of enterprise IT applications and infrastructure
• Understanding of Agile contract management
• Good FMCG industry solutions knowledge; Good FMCG business process awareness
• Experience in IT controls (KBIs)
