Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Collection Lead to spearhead our collections department. The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in debt recovery, a deep understanding of the fintech industry, and a strong ability to lead and motivate a team.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective collection strategies to minimize overdue accounts and bad debt.
  • Build and lead a high-performing collections team, providing training, coaching, and mentorship.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage the collections team to achieve targets and maintain high levels of productivity and morale.
  • Monitor team performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions.
  • Develop and maintain collector incentive programs
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to resolve payment issues and minimize delinquency.
  • Utilize advanced collection tools and technologies to optimize collection processes.
  • Analyze collection data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other departments, including credit, customer success and finance, to resolve outstanding issues and improve overall collections processes.
  • Coordinate with the legal department in collections cases requiring litigation
  • Prepare regular reports on collections performance for senior management.
  • Proven experience in collections management, preferably in the fintech industry.
