About The Role

Porter is looking for a social media marketing and communications person to join our team. The ideal applicant will possess strong knowledge of the digital media landscape. The successful candidate will be responsible for growing our brand presence on social media, via Influencer marketing, end to end coordination from ideation, creating briefs, content creation-internal and external, negotiations, crisis management, to monitoring & reporting the campaigns’ performance. The scouting of new social channels would also be an important part of this job role.

Roles And Responsibilities

Social media

  • Work with the Marketing team to create and implement campaigns
  • Grow online social networks by increasing fan-base and interactions
  • Strategize with marketing & central teams on what should be our approach on social media channels including short form content channels.
  • Keep up with the latest trends on social media and within the influencer community too.
  • Build a relationship with influencers/ social media agencies for the brand.
  • Monitor and post also on the brand’s social networks
  • Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas
  • Performs research to find articles, stories, resources or other content that is relevant to the business, influencer marketing & business stakeholders.
  • Maintain Social Media Hygiene.
  • Execute the influencer/social campaigns efficiently
  • Track the success of the campaigns and present reports.
  • Constant research & keep tabs of the marketing ecosystem to ensure that you are up-to-date.
  • Manage social & design agencies to get the work done on time and also in an accurate manner.

Communications

  • Plan communications to drive brand consistency and engagement across all touchpoints.
  • Designing and creating marketing content, including pamphlets, newsletters and promotional emails, website, etc.
  • Researching to determine the ideal messaging strategies for different audiences
  • Identifying the effectiveness of marketing material by tracking relevant metrics
  • Gathering information on competitors' communication strategies and creating plans to compete with them
  • Coordinating the design of promotional material and distribution in online and offline channels.
  • Reviewing and analyzing consumer data to analyze effective communication strategies and successful ways to increase brand awareness
  • Writing press releases about company-related news such as new product launches

Skills & Requirements

  • Analytical skills
  • With 1-4 years of UAE market’s experience
  • Keyword knowledge is a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of short form video making is a plus.
  • Bachelor’s degree in communications or related field is preferred.
