Sterilization Attendant

Job Description

• 0 Maintain established departmental rules and regulations, policy and procedures, objectives, quality assurance, safety, environmental and infection control standards.
  
  

0 Receive, sort disassembl e and decontaminate all unsterile reusable medical devi ces as per departmental po l i cy and procedures.

0 I nspect, assemble, pack and label all the c l eaned medical devices and sterilize med i cal devices with appropriate sterilization methods as per departmental policy and procedures.

0 Ensure that all sterile products are stored, hand l ed and supp l i ed safe l y and in time l y manner.

0 Operate, maintain and cl ean washer disinfector, ultra sonic machine, steam & pl asma sterilizers, heat sealers and any other required equipment or machinery.

0 Perform any other related duties as assigned or requested .

Qualifications

High school and CSSO certification preferred
