Position: Senior Accountant
Location: Abu Dhabi, UAE
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Accountant to join our team. The ideal candidate must possess extensive knowledge and hands-on experience in financial consolidation, finalization of accounts, and report preparation. This role is crucial to ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial information for the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform financial consolidation of accounts across various entities.
- Finalize accounts and ensure all financial records are accurate and compliant with relevant standards.
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, profit & loss statements, and cash flow statements.
- Oversee the monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
- Liaise with external auditors to ensure timely completion of audits.
- Assist in budgeting and forecasting activities.
- Ensure compliance with accounting regulations and company policies.
- Provide insights and recommendations to management based on financial analysis.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is a plus).
- 5+ years of experience in accounting, with a focus on consolidation and financial reporting.
- Strong knowledge of UAE financial regulations and tax laws.
- Proficient in accounting software and MS Office, particularly Excel.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
