  • Strategically manage the warehouse in compliance with company’s policies and vision.
  • Ensure that the warehouse operates at peak efficiency -with customer satisfaction primary goal- by supervising, Organizing, and training warehouse employees and establishing, monitoring, and managing operational goals.
  • Effectively manage the team with the aim of executing assigned tasks to meet operational KPI’s.
  • Validate and maintain all data pertaining to the monthly invoicing, supplier invoices etc. and support the Business excellence team towards PNL management.
  • Maintain a safe and healthy work environment by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures and by complying with legal regulations.

Tasks

  • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including quality assurance, inventory control, space management, logistics, floor productivity, shipping, and customer service.
  • Schedule and oversee the warehouse team, and manage the flow and quality of work to maximize efficiency and minimize overtime.
  • Inspect equipment, tools, and machinery regularly, and oversee general maintenance when necessary.
  • Meet regularly with warehouse & CSR team leads to analyse productivity and develop actionable plans for loss prevention.
  • Collaborate with other departments, such as Freight team, IT solutions, and sales, to coordinate warehouse activities and meet customer demands.
  • Negotiate with suppliers for high quality of service on better rates.
  • Manage stock control and reconcile with the data storage system
  • Support and encourage team ethics and values within the work environment.
  • Follow QHSE guidelines and working instructions and requirements for all daily tasks.
  • Update and maintenance of Operational and Billing SOP.
  • Closely monitor and guide operations and pro-actively initiate/implement corrective actions to ensure the alignment between operations and the customer's expectations in terms of SOP/Procedures.
  • Drive continuous improvements :-Drive & Suggest (Internal / external) processes optimization in collaboration with Operations excellence team.
  • Implement a procedure to increase invoicing accuracy in collaboration with the business units and Operational team.
  • Prepare and participate the group for all customer audits and execute corrective actions based on findings.
  • Prepare and Conduct MBRs, QBRs, and ABRs with a customer. Receive feedback and monitor the quality of services provided.
  • Manage and resolve any warehouse-related issues or conflicts that may arise, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining positive employee relations.
  • Graduate of any field.
  • Must have at least 5 years experience in contract logistics/warehouse.
  • Experience with automotive spare parts warehousing is an advantage.
  • Knowledgeable of WMS/SAP and MS Office.
  • Strong knowledge of warehousing Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Familiarity with safety regulations and best practices to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as required by operational needs.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, adapting to changing priorities and demands.
  • Strong leadership, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
