The Air Force Civilian Service (AFCS) is looking for a Full-Time Logistics Management Specialist, NH-0346-03 to work for the Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) in the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC) @ Cairo, Egypt This position can close at any time. Apply Now! Salary Range: to $74,411 - $115,079 These positions can be filled at any of the specified grade levels mentioned above Recruitment, Retention, and Relocation incentives may be available. This position is not authorized for Remote Telework.  Individual will be required to physically reside within a 2-hour commute of their assigned office.  Situational Telework may be available in emergency situations. 

Qualifications: Knowledge of basic theories and principles of systems design, specifications development techniques; and an understanding of acquisition and maintenance requirements as well as organizational functions involved in logistical support. Knowledge of theories and principles of Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) planning, development, and execution sufficient to coordinate and integrate functions into a total, well structured, and viable program. Knowledge of system life cycle concepts and design as they apply to system research, development, and acquisition. Ability to plan, analyze, and coordinate a system or portion of a major system's acquisition and transfer into operational use; to include the identification and correlation of specific requirements for money, manpower, materiel, facilities, and services needed to support the program; and to develop and analyze data to determine logistic objectives and goals, identify support requirements (including funding, contract development, and other technical support requirements), and establish relationships between the participants involved in deploying the plan. U.S. Citizenship Obtain & maintain Security clearance This is designated Drug Testing Position (if applicable) DAWIA Certification (Life Cycle Logistics) Must be able to pass a pre-employment physical (if applicable) Duties of an OCONUS Logistics Management Specialist (Egypt) The primary duties of this positions are to: Support development, implementation, and improvement/sustainment of and compliance with processes, policy and tools associated with Foreign Military Sales (FMS) Operational and Sustainment Logistics Programs. Applies technical policy, process initiatives, guidance and tools to meet mission/program needs. Work independently and with peers/subject matter experts (SMEs) to accomplish accurate, thorough, and timely technical assessments associated with logistics recommendations to support program offices, and host nation requirements. Identifies program and organization issues/risks; works with appropriate stakeholders to resolve/mitigate. Manages applicable product support efforts for Egypt Cairo sustainment operations. Anticipates problems, develops sound solutions and action plans to ensure program and mission accomplishment. Establish communication guidelines for ensuring timely and accurate communication with Egypt on product support/sustainment and logistical problems. Includes, but not limited to, the preparation and transmission of official correspondence, presentation materials, and status updates. Maintains continuous flow of timely, accurate, and actionable information to leadership on critical issues to minimizes delays in product support execution. Support Logistics Management Reviews, USG-internal meetings, Case, Financial, and Program Management Reviews (PMRs), and annual case reviews as required. Serves as representative and spokesperson in communicating logistical problems/challenges to customer. Collaborate daily (face-to-face) with Egyptian Air Force supply officers to provide dedicated requisition processing/supply support for Egypt. Identify, plan for, resource, and implement management actions for repair and return, spares, and all classes of supply to ensure the customer is supported when needed.
