Working closely with our Financial Controller, the Junior Accountant will play a key role in driving financial excellence across multiple entities in diverse jurisdictions.

Responsibilities
- Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports, ensuring accuracy and compliance with regulatory standards.
- Accounts Payable/Receivable: Manage accounts payable and receivable processes, including invoice processing, payment approvals, and reconciliation of accounts.
- Data Entry and Management: Maintain accurate financial records by entering data into financial systems and ensuring timely updates for entities in various jurisdictions.
- Financial Analysis: Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost savings, and present findings to management.
- Assistance with Audits: Support internal and external audits by providing necessary documentation and financial data as required.
- Expense Management: Monitor and report on company expenditures, ensuring adherence to budgetary guidelines and policies.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness in financial operations.
- Tax Compliance: Assist in the preparation and filing of tax returns, ensuring compliance with tax regulations and identifying opportunities for tax savings.
- Cash Burn Management: Analyze and manage cash burn rates to ensure sustainable operations and optimize cash flow.
Minimum Qualifications
- A degree in Finance, preferably with an accounting orientation
- 2 years accounting experience
- Experience producing month-end reporting and financial statements
- Understanding of accounting concepts
- Strong attention to detail
- Organized and structured. You apply a structured approach to most things you do at work.
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with accounting software (Wafeq, Xero & Tally) is a plus
- Accounting experience in UK or India markets
