We are looking for a
Senior Content Writer to join one of our international clients. We are looking for a talented individual who can create engaging and compelling content to help us communicate our brand message effectively.
As a Senior Content Writer, you will play a major role in enhancing the agency's reputation and driving client success through strong content in Arabic and English and leading the agency's content unit. The ideal candidate should be dynamic, and experienced and have a proven track record in developing and executing successful PR strategies, managing client relationships, and leading a team of PR professionals.
Key Tasks:
- Collaborate with subject matter experts and internal stakeholders to gather information and insights for content development.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually improve content quality and effectiveness.
- Conduct thorough research on industry-related topics to ensure accurate and up-to-date information in content creation.
- Develop original and creative ideas for blog posts, articles, website content, social media updates, press releases, email newsletters, subtitles, and video content.
- Craft compelling press releases in both English and Arabic to communicate news, announcements, and updates to external media outlets, and write engaging and informative email newsletters in both English and Arabic to keep our audience informed and engaged.
- Use storytelling techniques to create compelling narratives that resonate with our target audience.
Responsibilities:
- Client Management:
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients, fostering strong relationships and understanding their unique PR needs.
- Regularly communicate with clients through the Communication Department’s team, to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities to expand the agency's services to existing clients.
- Content Creation:
- Collaborate with internal and external content creation teams to develop engaging and impactful content, including blog posts, articles, and social media content.
- Ensure that all content aligns with clients' messaging and brand voice.
- Crisis Communication:
- Develop crisis communication plans and protocols to effectively manage potential PR crises for clients.
- Provide guidance during high-stress situations, offering clear and concise messaging strategies.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Monitor and analyze PR campaigns, providing regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) to clients and agency leadership.
- Use data insights to refine strategies and improve results over time.
- Industry Expertise:
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in the field of public relations.
- Apply this knowledge to continuously innovate and improve the agency's PR offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in public relations, Communications, Journalism, political science, international affairs, or a related field.
- Master's or post-graduate education is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of successful PR campaign execution.
- Leadership and team management skills, with experience leading and developing a PR team.
- Excellent Arabic and English written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to craft compelling messaging and pitches.
- Proficiency in media relations, crisis communication, and content creation.
- Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and media contacts.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities, with a results-oriented mindset.
- Familiarity with PR tools and software for media monitoring, analytics, and reporting.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment.
