Typical Accountabilities
- Drive the IT/Digital vision and strategy for their area, develop operating plans, budgets, and lead performance measurement to ensure the effective delivery of business objectives within timescales and quality standards.
- Define and implement the strategy for trend technology; cloud computing, digital eco-systems and transformation, critical metrics setting, goals and achievements, Innovation hub, data strategy and governance. Showing to the business the relevance for this technology and how each one can impact in to the business.
- Responsible to contribute to the International IT/Digital Strategy and local marketing company, and once defined guarantee the execution on the last mile, including projects, platforms, developments, software, and hardware standardization.
- Negotiate and manage demands with the global competence center for SAP Developments and improvements.
- Develop an in-depth understanding of business areas’ strategies and needs for the future and ensure alignment with the IT/Digital Strategy. Support business change, acting as a single point of contact for senior partners, facilitating harmonies and alignment across the area.
- Proactively find opportunities for IT/Digital to deliver innovative solutions to customer issues/challenges and situations where lead groundbreaking technological innovations can be deployed to business advantage. Creating opportunities with external players such as: innovation startups and innovation hubs (private and public).
- Represent IT/Digital at SLT level and gain commitment to IT/Digital initiatives by applying specialist knowledge of services provided by IT/Digital and by marketing established, new and changed IT services to the customer groups.
- Assess, prioritize, and effectively communicate customer needs, and initiate projects in partnership with the International Region IT/Digital team.
- Encourage proactive collaboration and communication between Markets in NEMAG (and beyond) to ensure identification of standard methodology, scalability, and harmonies.
- Proactively engage with Region IT functions to ensure that global plans are developed with an appropriate understanding of the area/MC commercial strategy, business requirements and constraints
- Oversee the delivery of the capability projects into the markets with quality, in partnership with business change leaders.
- Drive transparency on exploitation of capabilities, increasing the value achieved from these investments.
- Work with the business area to develop measurable strategy and portfolio performance metrics and ensure development of customer scorecards. Define and monitor the delivery of value through IT projects and initiatives.
- Work with the Customer Service function to ensure that IT delivery to the business is operating effectively, manage overall satisfaction with IT services and proactively identify risks, issues as well as improvement areas. Conduct analysis of demand for services improvement
- Create a positive team climate of continuous improvement and recruit, lead, develop and motivate staff to achieve objectives and deliver competitive advantage through clear linkages between investment in people and business performance.
- Control and monitor all costs, capacity planning and utilization to support operational plans and define effective controls in line with IS Standards
- Ability to manage problems that have multiple origins, conflicting partners, and dynamic environments involved.
- Managing crisis with global and local solution, in order keep the environment stable.
- Contribute to the development of global policies and programs to support and develop the business and ensure effective implementation in own area.
- Lead data transformation objectives within NEMAG.
- Works collaboratively with
o Customers and internal partners to address issues and ensure that objectives remain aligned to the business plan.
o HR and IT leaders to identify and invest in key talent and emerging talent to develop the Leadership pipeline.
o IT functions to proactively communicate plans and current performance and to facilitate continuous improvement.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE REQUIRED?
- Experience of working and leading leaders in a global organization with complex/geographical context
- Experience of leading business area strategy
- Budget management experience
- Experience of program management
- Experience in Digital Marketing, Digital Health & eCommerce.
- Experience of leading teams in a matrix organization
- Experience with digital projects including global platforms based in Salesforce, python, adobe experience manager and AWS like type of technologies.
- Experience of leading teams with a demonstrable track record of motivational and achievement-oriented leadership
- Solid experience of developing relationships with senior internal customers and suppliers
- Ability to work well in and across diverse global teams.
- Strong networking and consulting skills
- Good communication and influencing skills.
- Sophisticated proficiency in strategic planning, change enablement and innovation.
- Experience in changing new ways of working transforming culture (i.e. Agile, Design Thinking, Lean)
- Good experience planning, deploying, and maintaining Commercial IT capabilities especially Business Information, Digital channels, and Field Capabilities
- English language proficiency.
