- Collaborate with the CEO and executive team to develop and implement the company's strategic plans.
- Translate the CEO’s vision into operational plans and ensure that business objectives are achieved.
- Identify growth opportunities, operational improvements, and industry trends that can be leveraged for business expansion.
- Operational Management:
- Oversee daily operations across multiple departments, ensuring seamless business performance.
- Develop and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the efficiency and effectiveness of business operations.
- Manage the company's supply chain, logistics, and production processes to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services.
- Ensure effective coordination between different departments (e.g., HR, IT, Finance, and Sales) to achieve organizational goals.
- Financial Oversight:
- Work with the CFO to develop budgets, forecast financials, and control costs.
- Ensure the company meets financial targets by monitoring expenses, implementing cost-saving strategies, and optimizing resource allocation.
- Team Management:
- Lead, mentor, and develop senior management teams and departmental heads.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, and accountability within the organization.
- Recruit, train, and retain high-performing employees, ensuring the company is staffed to meet operational goals.
- Process Improvement & Innovation:
- Identify and implement process improvements that increase operational efficiency.
- Leverage technology and digital tools to streamline business processes and improve productivity.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth transitions during times of growth, mergers, or operational shifts.
- Risk Management & Compliance:
- Identify potential risks to the business and develop mitigation strategies.
- Ensure the company is compliant with local, national, and industry-specific regulations and standards.
- Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and performance standards.
- Customer Experience & Service:
- Ensure that customer service and satisfaction are prioritized, and operations align with customer needs and expectations.
- Manage client relationships and foster partnerships to drive long-term growth and client retention.
Requirements
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- 10+ years of experience in senior management roles, with a focus on operations, business development, or general management.
- Proven experience as a COO or similar leadership role in a large organization.
