Summary:

We are looking for a Head of operations for one of personal care production companies based in Sadat, Egypt.

Key Responsibilities:

•Production planning and execution to achieve production related performance metrics & meet market requirements within budgeted cost and lead time.

•Manage & control Fixed Overheads of factory operations.

•To lead and direct factory functional teams to achieve objectives in Quality management and Productivity Improvement through the company's Group initiatives.

•To drive maintenance, TPM compliance and enhance manufacturing efficiencies.

•To build a culture of cost & productivity improvement and lead change management.

•To manage shift and line manning to optimize productivity while also driving automation to reduce manpower dependency.

•To have knowledge of local regulatory requirements and liaison with concerned authorities.

•The member would work closely with Procurement, Planning, Finance and other functions & develop right systems and processes and practices for the Operations. The member would also be expected to play an institutional role in processes across Egypt depending on functional / domain expertise.

•To sustain harmonious Employee Relations.

•To ensure all commercial compliances like SAP transactions, audit process and accounting transactions in the plant.

Requirements:

•12-14 years of experience in manufacturing/production process field, preferably in FMCG sector with a proven successful track record in factory management.

•Graduation in Engineering preferably with a specialization in Mechanical/Production from a reputable university.

•Strong problem solving skills with demonstrated experience of displaying Operations Excellence

•Possessing current/previous experience of working in Sadat industrial zone is a premium asset.

•Exposure to employees / workers and industrial Relations is a must.
