Maintenance Technician

Job Objective :

The Technician will be responsible for overseeing and executing the maintenance of all Machines at the manufacturing site. Performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting malfunctions, and ensuring safe operation.

Environment

Internal: Interaction with management, machinery, quality, and service divisions.

External: Engagement with equipment suppliers, vendors, regulatory authorities, and auditors.

Key responsibility

• Maintenance: Ensuring routine and corrective maintenance tasks.
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Identify mechanical issues in equipment, conduct diagnostics, and supervise repairs to minimize downtime. Replace defective mechanical components and ensure systems are restored efficiently.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure adherence to mechanical safety protocols and industry standards. Conduct regular inspections and preventive checks to ensure operational safety.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of all mechanical maintenance activities, including scheduled maintenance, repairs, and part replacements using CMMS software (e.g., SAP-PM).
• Collaboration and coordination: Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure the overall performance of the manufacturing site. Deal with external vendors for spare parts and technical support.
  
  
  

Academic Experience Required

• Diploma or associate degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
  
  
  

Professional Experience Required

• Fresh graduates are welcome.
• Previous Experience in industrial facilities is a Plus.
  
  
  

Computing Skills

• Basic knowledge of Microsoft office
  
  
  

Personal Skills

• Strong Mechanical / Electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to read and interpret mechanical diagrams /electrical schematics.

Languages

Written and spoken Arabic. English is a plus.
