The Role

The Student Recruitment Executive will promote Middlesex University Dubai as the University of choice in the United Arab Emirates to students seeking continued professional development options. The position will assist in successfully implementing the student recruitment strategy and act as the primary key representative for the learner.

We are looking for someone with experience in sales and recruitment or similar, who is driven by KPIs and achieving student recruitment targets and can follow process and university entry requirement policies. The candidate must be a self-starter, proactive and innovative in their approach.

Key areas of responsibility include:

  • To provide accurate information in a professional manner, advising on university Degree programmes, short courses, and academic requirements.
  • To adhere to established procedures for entry to the University and comply with the Admissions Policy.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of university regulations and the admissions application processes and procedures.
  • Process applications, generate offer and rejection letters and manage any associated queries through the University admissions system.
  • Take the lead on the progression activity of Foundation to Undergraduate and Undergraduate studies to Postgraduate studies for both internal and external audiences.
  • Provide input on improving admissions procedures and operations within the student recruitment department.
  • Analyse qualifications of prospective students utilising established University admissions standards, guidelines, and criteria.
  • Implement and develop a communication plan, ensuring you regularly contact prospective students and/or parents/or company contacts (HR).
  • Work closely with the Business Development Coordinator, who will provide different connections who will need to be contacted and informed about the University and potential opportunity.
  • Contribute to recruitment and admissions activities and the planning and organisation of prospective student visits and open events.
  • Liaise with academic departments and other administrative offices.
  • Assist with coordinating the Student Ambassador Scheme, including interviewing and training postgraduate students to support the outreach and development process.
  • Maintain an awareness of UAE’s Education developments, particularly with the professional learner.
  • Act as an Account Manager for prospective learners, developing positive working relationships that lead to the recruitment of students to the University.
  • Develop links and relationships with companies and institutions to promote continued professional development and learning at Middlesex University Dubai, provide pre-admissions advice, and give presentations or seminars on professional studies and work-life balance.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to plan promotional initiatives to target prospective students.
  • Manage the lead to enrolment process using the University Marketing, Sales and Admissions Systems.
  • Support with the University welcome of new students, providing them with support during their arrival at the University.
  • Be a key user of the CRM system, recommending and suggesting best practice measures.
  • Provide weekly reports on programme-level performance and planned activity to increase the student numbers as requested by management.
  • Ensure compliance with the law around copyright and data protection.

  • A good understanding of systems usage [CRM, Leads, Database Management]
  • Honours degree or higher degree (or equivalent qualification) in a relevant field.
