Your role and responsibilities
In this role, you will be responsible to provide best in class technical and commercial support to the service sales organization in EG and allocated market; select and identify the best fit and cost-efficient service solutions to meet customer requirements. Also prepare in full coordination with the sales team value-based offerings to ensure ABB is well positioned to win matching customer needs. The work model for this role (onsite) This role is contributing to Motion Business Area based in Cairo Egypt. You will be mainly accountable for:
- Independently managing the product selection and knowhow of complete service offering portfolio, be go-to person for service sales for technically complex cases and larger projects where product management expertise is required. Push ABB Ability digital portfolio as a key strategic direction as part of offering.
- Defining suitable and customized service contract portfolio offerings through- VAS (value add-ed services), replacements, advance services, spares parts & digital offerings. Preparation of marketing material for digital offerings, advanced services and value proposition promoting service offerings and independent product selection using Motion service tools.
- Preparing technical and commercial offers for standard products or spares and supporting customer discussions in coordination with the sales team to secure business opportunities. Ensuring we have professional templates and implementing a consistent offering touch and feel to the customer motion service as a whole.
- Preparing or supporting preparation of technical or commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, Local Division or feeder factory indications and sales organization directives.
- Providing information to the risk review process in accordance with ABB policy and sometimes participating in the risk review assessment. Coordinating with service sales team ensuring on time order booking, time sheet entry and revenues. Coordinating with service partners for training, price list, offers and orders in full alignment with sales team and division strategy.
- Participating in conferences, workshops, lunch and learn sessions and conducting training sessions for customers and key stakeholders when applicable in full alignment with sales team and division strategy.
- Ensuring high availability and responsiveness beyond working hours to support critical custom-er requests such as emergency shutdowns, warranty cases, failures and related immediate sup-port requests.
- Support selling the full-service portfolio.
Qualifications For The Role
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/ Mechatronics Engineering
- 3 plus years’ experience in sales support or tendering.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Fluent in English.
