About The Opportunity
Thought Leadership & Problem Solving
- Leads the co-creation of best practice vendor performance frameworks to drive customer experience through vendor and quick commerce performance.
- Develop and lead comprehensive and innovative strategies for vendor performance, including vendor onboarding, training, and ongoing performance enhancement to drive customer experience.
- Continuously assess vendor performance data, identifying trends and areas for improvement, and implement scalable solutions to drive operational excellence.
- Leverage strong competitive insights (and know-how) to further vendor performance goals.
- Make data-driven decisions and have the ability to transform insights into actionable plans.
Metric Accountability
- Set and hit targets for key metrics (e.g. Vendor Fail Rate, Vendor Delay and Order Late) for the region as well as local counterparts through rigorous performance monitoring and course-correction.
- Drive continuous improvements in vendor-facing products and internal tools, ensuring best in class user experience.
- Coordinate with local teams to pilot, test, and roll out experiments, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
- Facilitate best practice sharing within different markets in talabat, as well as the various entities within Delivery Hero (for both food and quick commerce verticals).
Stakeholder Influence
- Influence cross-functional teams actively to ensure the frameworks align with overall business objectives of excellent customer experience.
- Coordinate with local teams to pilot, test, and roll out experiments, ensuring seamless execution and alignment with business goals.
- Represent the regional logistics with the senior management as well as talabat's executive leadership, to ensure alignment on strategic priorities and performance objectives.
- Work closely with Delivery Hero (DH) and talabat product teams to propose and implement product launches and enhancements.
What you need to be successful
- An ideal candidate would possess 8+ years of experience in either/both Commercial (B2B) and Operations roles.
- Exposure to strong collaboration with Product teams is highly favourable.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to grasp complex technical concepts and process flows swiftly and effectively.
- Some team management experience (this role has :7 members and 8 local counterparts)
- High level of cross functional collaboration and project management.
- Thought leadership and innovation to drive better customer outcomes.
- Strong senior stakeholder management and influence to drive prioritisation and resource allocations.
- Excellent verbal and written communications in English (Arabic is good-to-have but not essential), in particular the adaptability to engage a wide range of stakeholders from Product to business, from leaders to associates in an international working environment.
