What You’ll Do
Operational
- Ensure that orders are being handled properly and efficiently from order placing all the way to delivery
- Coordinate the shipment of products to customers, ensuring that all deliveries are executed in line with the
- logistical agreements made with the customer and applicable shipping regulations and procedures
- Report out performance and potential improvement areas to the Logistics Account Manager
- Regularly communicate with the Logistics Account Manager to ensure that all shipments are in compliance with contract terms and customer expectations
- Monitor the status of shipments and escalate any issues to the Logistics Account Manager as necessary
- Collaborate with the warehouse team to ensure that all products are properly packaged and labeled for shipping with accurate records of all shipping activities, including tracking numbers, delivery dates, and any issues that arise during shipping.
- Analyze root causes in case of non-performance and/or customer complaints related to the logistics service agreements
- Coordinate with warehouse team for goods receipt and outbounds.
Customer
- Maintain a high level of customer service, responding promptly to customer inquiries and concerns regarding shipping
Your Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years in logistics field.
- Strong customer focus, high levels of customer service
- Analytical skills
- Problem solving skills, get energy from dealing with problems and solving them
- Pro-active, mindset, focus on speed and execution
- Experience with working in a TMS system is preferred
- Proven track-record in working with Transport network(s) via transport service providers
- Logistics background, working experience in logistics environment is preferred
- Knowing/understanding the internal logistics processes and systems if preferred
- Excellent coordination skills in logistics environment
- Good communication skills: who to have on cc, what to share, fact based, able to convey the message, good and bad
- Proficient in both English and French languages.
