- Configure and define parameters for installation or testing of local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), routers, switches, controllers, or related networking equipment.
- Evaluate local area network (LAN) / wide area network (WAN) performance data to ensure sufficient availability or speed, to identify network problems, or for disaster recovery purposes.
- Responsible for ensuring the performance and relevant security of network services within agreed service levels to ensure meeting the requirements of the organization.
- Work with internal business teams/stakeholders, and various technology departments to gather requirements and diagnose network related problems.
- Perform and apply the SLA with vendor relationships as it depends on daily operational needs to ensure that top quality solutions are available to the staff.
- Maintain that daily, weekly, and monthly statistics, status reports, and graphical reporting aids are completed and continually modified to meet the needs of the department.
- Incident Response, addressing network incidents promptly to minimize downtime and impact.
- Collaboration with Security Teams, working closely with security teams to detect and mitigate threats.
- Performance Optimization, continuously improving network performance and reliability.
Requirements
- 3-4 Years of experience as a Network Operations Engineer.
- Bacholer degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or any equivalent.
- Hands on & wide knowledge in LAN/WAN/Wireless/Firewalls Security/WAF
- Specific knowledge of VLAN, VPN, Routing, and MPLS networking.
- Hands on Cisco, Juniper, Aruba, F5 & Fortinet.
- knowledge of IT infrastructure, TCP/IP, networking, and information system security principles, practices, and technologies.
- Good knowledge of passive elements like UTP cables, local loops & Fiber.
