Position Description
Amideast/Egypt provides valuable assistance to students and graduates who require authentication of their U.S. degrees and certification of the institution's accreditation and legitimacy. Amideast/Egypt offers authentication and accreditation services of American degrees obtained from accredited institutions in the United States and/or from American institutions around the globe recognized by the U.S. Council of Higher Education.
The Certificates Authentication Assistant will be responsible for handling the administrative and operational tasks of the certificates authentication, the related online research tasks, and all other documentation and filing tasks in line with the policies and regulations of the organization.
Responsibilities
Tasks and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Verify institutions and universities’ accreditation
- Follow the appropriate procedures for verifying and stamping different documents (degrees, transcripts, board certificates, letters, etc)
- Confirm the authenticity of customers’ documents by communicating with education institutions and universities in Egypt, United States, and other countries
- Track and update certification and stamping statuses
- Works on data entry daily basis for certification cases
- Investigate questionable cases and certificates
- Work closely with customer service department to respond to customer inquiries, complaints and provide in-depth guidance
- Ensures that all processes are in place, consistent with the policies and regulatory requirements
- Conduct regular and relevant research to update certification manual and processes
- Scan all stamped certificates daily and upload to the department archive
- Report on updates and share any requests or issues with Program Lead
- Draft official letters, when needed
- Handle the certification-related email communication internally and externally
- Perform other needed tasks as assigned by the Program Lead
Required
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in administrative roles
- Previous experience in degree authentication and accreditation is a plus
- Outstanding organizational skills
- Ability to adapt/respond to different customers
- Excellent Arabic and English proficiency
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Computer proficiency and strong knowledge of online document sharing tools and MS Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is required
- High attention to detail and the ability to multitask Preferred
- Attention to details
- TOEIC score of minimum 600 or equivalent
WORK ENVIRONMENT
The incumbent in this position will work in a professional office environment and will utilize the following equipment when working from the corporate office or remote home office (either on a full time, temporary, or hybrid basis)
