Job Description

Telephone Operator:

First impressions are everything! As a Telephone Operator, you will take care of the guests by answering to all the calls in our Welcome Center.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Greet, respond to requests and coordinate with other departments while providing exceptional service.
  • Welcome Center is a One Stop Shop and you will be assisting the guests for all room service orders as well as responding to all their queries and requests
  • Take initiative to add a personalized experience.
  • Proudly promote the hotel facilities, looking for opportunities to enhance a guest’s stay.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Receive each guest call in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Maintain effective communication with all related department to ensure smooth service delivery.
  • Handle every query in a polite and courteous manner and exceed guest expectations.
  • Maintain an up to date knowledge of the hotel and local services.
  • Maintain an awareness of guest profile through the Opera guest profile system.
  • Maintain the guest wake up call sheet and deliver calls accordingly on time and to the established standard.
  • Ensure the proper operation of the switchboard, resulting in fast and efficient transferring of internal and external calls.
  • Take messages for guests and management as per the required standard.

Qualifications

  • Should have min. 1 years of experience in similar role for a 5 Star Resort in UAE
  • Being Multi-lingual i.e. Arabic / German/Russian / French languages would be a Plus
  • Prior experience working with Opera/Micros is Mandatory
  • Proven ability to build and maintain good relationships with all stakeholders
  • Communicate thoughts, actions and opportunities clearly with strong networking skills
