Job Description

The role of the QA/QC Supervisor is to maintains the highest standards of corporate governance, ensuring that all activities are carried out ethically and in compliance with Company’s Security, Compliance & HSE policies, Management System, relevant laws, regulations, standards, and industry practices and complies with the Company’s Rules to Live By

Responsibilities

  • Lead External (Tenaris, VAM, JFE, GP, API) & Internal Audits
  • Quality & Repair of Pressure Control Equipment
  • Maintain a Document Control System in Place.
  • Initiate training along with Department Heads in the countries and make proper arrangements for sending the personnel to the training.
  • Participate in all QHSE meetings and to report any non-conformances, Near Miss Incident and QHSE Improvement according to the QHSE System.
  • Ensure OEPS and related processes are understood & adhered to by all staff.
  • Oversee all workshop quality control and quality assurance activity performed by workshop personnel.
  • Responsible for maintaining the service history files for rental tools and compiling job package documentation.
  • Responsible for controlling and maintaining a calibration Management System of: Workshop Equipment’s, Testing, Detections and Measuring Equipment’s.
  • In case of concerns with safety, quality non-conformances, or integrity concerns, exercises ‘Stop Work Authority’ to suspend operations.
  • Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency.
  • Coordinate the start up of new operations with a close attention to detail.
  • Ensure all quality data required by customers is delivered and presented.
  • Manage all issues affecting service delivery in a timely manner.
  • Ensure controls are in place to guarantee compliance with government regulations in relation to quality.
  • Must be able to perform basic problem solving and troubleshooting when needed.
  • Perform various other duties and activities as assigned by supervisor within the physical constraints of the job.
  • Provide onsite services when needed.
  • Recommend measures to improve methods, performance, and quality to increase efficiency .

Requirements

  • Experience of Pressure Control Equipment is essential
  • 8-10 years experience in a similar role
  • Previous supervisory experience is required
  • Experience of either Tenaris, GP, API, or JFE
  • Fluent English written and verbal
  • Engineering background
  • Able to work Under pressure
  • A team player able to work closely with fellow employees at all levels in the organization.
  • Individual must be a self-starter, problem solver
  • Ability to communicate and collaborate with customers, suppliers, and third-party auditors.
  • Basic Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel computer skills
  • You must be eligible to work in Egypt without a visa

Qualifications

BSc Engineering - Mechanical (preferred), Electrical, Petroleum
