Irrigation Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Irrigation Engineer to join our team in Almaza Bay. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, installing, and maintaining efficient irrigation systems for the various landscaped areas, parks, and gardens.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assess the water needs and soil conditions of landscaped areas to determine the optimal irrigation system design
• Design and specify irrigation system components such as pipes, sprinklers, valves, pumps, and control systems
• Oversee the installation of new irrigation systems, ensuring they meet all relevant building codes and regulations
• Develop and implement preventative maintenance programs to keep irrigation systems operating at peak efficiency
• Monitor water usage and make adjustments to irrigation schedules and system settings to conserve water
• Troubleshoot and repair any issues or malfunctions with the irrigation infrastructure
• Collaborate with groundskeepers, horticulturists, and other stakeholders to optimize irrigation performance
• Maintain detailed records and documentation of the irrigation system and its operations
• Ensure compliance with all local water usage regulations and sustainability best practices
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Agricultural.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an irrigation engineer, preferably in a resort, hospitality, or tourist setting
• Strong knowledge of irrigation system design, installation, and maintenance
• Proficient with irrigation system controllers, sensors, and automation technologies
• Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
