Job Summary:

As the Software Quality Control (QC) Team Lead, you will play a vital role in ensuring the highest quality of software releases within our organization. You will be responsible for Leading and mentoring a team of QC professionals, designing and implementing effective testing strategies, and driving continuous improvement in our quality control processes. This role requires a strong understanding of software development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and best practices. You will be a passionate advocate for quality, possessing excellent communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• Build and lead a high-performing team of QC professionals, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
• Define and implement comprehensive testing strategies aligned with project requirements and industry best practices.
• Develop and oversee the creation and execution of test plans, test cases, and defect logs.
• Analyze test results, identify trends, and recommend corrective actions to prevent future issues.
• Stay up-to-date on emerging testing tools and technologies and evaluate their potential for adoption.
• Continuously evaluate and improve existing QC processes by identifying and implementing best practices.
• Automate testing tasks wherever feasible to optimize efficiency and coverage.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate quality assurance throughout the development lifecycle.
• Clearly communicate testing plans, results, and potential risks to stakeholders.
• Collaborate effectively with developers, product managers, and other teams to ensure alignment and achieve shared goals.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• Minimum of 5+ years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with at least 2 years of leadership experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in various testing methodologies (e.g., functional, performance, security) and tools (e.g., JUnit, Selenium, API testing tools).
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycles (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
• Ability to analyze data, problem-solve, and make sound decisions.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite and relevant QA documentation tools.
• Passionate about quality and committed to continuous improvement.
