We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team. As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with processing and managing payroll-related tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll for employees.
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records.
  • Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime accurately.
  • Process employee expense reimbursements.
  • Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
  • Prepare payroll reports for management.
  • Assist with the reconciliation of payroll-related accounts.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Previous experience in payroll or a related field is preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
  • Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
