We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team. As a Payroll Assistant, you will be responsible for assisting with processing and managing payroll-related tasks. You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing, maintaining employee records, and providing exceptional customer service to our employees.
Responsibilities
- Assist with processing bi-weekly payroll for employees.
- Maintain and update employee payroll records.
- Calculate wages, deductions, and overtime accurately.
- Process employee expense reimbursements.
- Respond to payroll-related inquiries from employees in a timely manner.
- Prepare payroll reports for management.
- Assist with the reconciliation of payroll-related accounts.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in payroll or a related field is preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and payroll software.
- Knowledge of payroll laws, regulations, and best practices.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
