About the Job:
The role of a Guest Services Assistant is to welcome Guests to the F&B Outlets, take F&B orders, up-sell additional items, receive payments, and prepare F&B trays for delivery
- To understand and follow all manufacturers and Dubai Municipality guidelines, Jumeirah and Wild Wadi Standard Operating Procedures in order to exceed the operational requirements and ensure the Guests receive the highest standards of quality products and services at all times.
- To uphold integrity by understanding and adhering to all proper wristbands handling, cash handling and point of sale procedures in order to contribute to the success of the organization.
- To completely satisfy each Guest by greeting and helping them while maintaining a professional appearance at all times and ensuring fast speed of service, preparation of the correct food and beverage order and maintain overall cleanliness of the park which will contribute to the success of the organization shown in the Customer Satisfaction Index results.
- To be fully aware and knowledgeable of all products sold in the F&B Outlets in order to promote, suggest and up-sell these products to the Guest which will in turn increase revenue, per cap and Guest satisfaction.
- To provide assistance for exclusive use events when needed, and to assist in the preparations of facilities for special functions, themed evenings, etc. in order to contribute to the success of the organization.
- To clean all defined areas of the kitchen counters, walls, floors, storage rooms, and other areas of the kitchen on a daily basis or as necessary in order to be in accordance with the set food safety and hygiene standards.
- To maintain a clean environment by picking up garbage inside the park and back of the house, and throwing it in the proper garbage bins in order to provide sanitary surroundings for our Guests and Colleagues.
- To report any safety concerns to management in order to maintain the highest standard of safety and hygiene at all times.
- Using any machinery, equipment or dangerous substance is used in accordance with training and instruction received;
About You:
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Completed HSC (Higher Secondary Certificate)
- Proficient in English (Read/Write/Speak – Essential)
- At least 1 year of experience as food server/cashier
- Open minded toward a multi-national organization
