Travel Manager (Dubai)

Salling Search is currently recruiting a Travel Manager for an international shipping company to be based in Dubai.

Only candidates who have the below skills and candidates who are based in Singapore will be considered for this role. For this role, it is a must that you have the following skills, traits or past experience.

Responsibilities

• Assist travelers with any questions related to their journeys.
• Develop offers aligning with the company's Travel Guidelines.
• Collaborate with both internal and external partners to plan and execute all travel aspects, such as flights, accommodation, transportation, and visas.
• Distribute travel documents containing relevant details and necessary documentation for travel arrangements and destination-specific information.
• Arrange alternatives in case of changes before or during the trip.
• Offer support to travelers before, during, and after their trips, actively seeking feedback for service improvement.
• Manage travel expenses, including invoicing and payments to service providers.
• Generate spending and exception reports.
• Maintain updated databases of traveler profiles and service providers.
• Establish and manage corporate relationships with travel agencies and service providers, under the guidance of the Team Lead Travel Desk.
• Fulfil additional administrative duties as needed.
  
  

Requirements

• At least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Experience with travel booking tools such as GDS/Online Booking Tools.
• Knowledgable in international regulations, customs, and procedures related to aviation and hospitality travel operations.
• Strong customer service attitude and attentive to details.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal and problem solving skills
• Ability to multitask and work under pressure
• Must be fluent in English
