About the Role:
Support the Distributor Sales team to achieve sales targets and growth plans of Modern Trade Channel across Egypt. Own and drive the channel strategy development and deployment. Coordinate between Marketing, Trade Marketing and Sales teams to develop and implement Channel Activity calendar. Ensure effective management of channel trade spend.
Main Responsibilities:
- Work closely with Distributor Modern Trade Field Sales Team to achieve channel targets, Distribution, Volume and Value.
- Ensure strong development of all Modern trade sub-channels, ex, Key Accounts, Discounters, Large Grocery, Convenience, Food service and E-Commerce.
- Ensure effective implementation of Ferrero building blocks, short and long-term channel strategies.
- Support Distributor sales team to optimize and develop Modern trade RTM across Egypt.
- Work closely with Modern Trade Sales team and Trade Marketing to develop and execute customer specific projects and solutions.
- Collaborate with Channel sales team and Trade Marketing to develop and execute channel Trade marketing calendar.
- Enhance skills and capabilities of Modern trade sales and Merchandising teams.
- Act as functional owner of News page system.
- Ensure effective management of relationship with key Accounts.
- Effective Management of Channel Trade Spend Budget that complies with internal and external requirements.
- Ensure accurate forecasting of channel sales.
- Closely monitor market trends, competitors and customers current needs and future opportunities, act accordingly.
Who we are looking for:
- BA or BSc Degree in relevant field.
- 5-8 Years of experience in Egypt’s FMCG Modern Trade Sales Management/Development.
- Strong understanding of Egypt’s FMCG Modern Trade Operational and Strategic dynamics.
- Good relationship network with key MT Accounts.
- Strong Communication skills- Fluency in English.
- Strong Leadership and Coaching skills.
Nice To have:
- Experience in Confectionary category in Egypt.
- Experience in management and development of E-Commerce channel.
