Cairo, Egypt (On-Site)

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and Implement HSE Programs:
    • Create and maintain comprehensive HSE programs that align with industry standards and legal requirements.
    • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential hazards and implement preventive measures.
    • Develop and implement emergency response plans and procedures.
  • Conduct HSE Training:
    • Deliver HSE training programs to employees at all levels, ensuring they understand and comply with safety regulations.
    • Develop and maintain training records.
  • Investigate Incidents and Accidents:
    • Investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
    • Prepare detailed incident reports and recommendations for prevention.
  • Monitor Compliance:
    • Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company policies.
    • Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
  • Promote a Safety Culture:
    • Foster a positive safety culture within the organization by promoting awareness and engagement.
    • Encourage employees to report safety concerns and hazards.
  • Liaise with Regulatory Authorities:
    • Interact with regulatory agencies, such as OSHA or local authorities, to ensure compliance and address any issues.
Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • NEBOSH IGC Certificate.
  • ISO 14001&45001 Certification.
  • HSE specific certification.
  • Fluent in English writing and speaking.
  • Working experience not less than 5 years.
  • Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and industry standards.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to conduct investigations and analyze data.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
