Salling Search is currently recruiting a
Administration Manager for an international shipping company to be based in
Dubai.
Only candidates who have the below skills and candidates who are based in
Dubai will be considered for this role. For this role, it is a must that you have the following skills, traits or past experience.
Responsibilities
- Oversee utility bills and manage building access systems.
- Assist employees with administrative inquiries and requirements.
- Support office operations: seating arrangements, mobile plans, lunch services, business card requests, merchandise, and courier services.
- Build and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers, manage contract negotiations and performance evaluations.
- Coordinate procurement processes, manage asset inventory, and ensure efficient distribution of office supplies.
- Assist with office maintenance to ensure safety and operational compliance.
- Administer invoices, petty cash (including foreign petty cash), and conduct anti-fraud checks.
- Support corporate credit card administration and collaborate with HQ Finance on Acubiz-related issues.
- Assist with onboarding/offboarding processes in collaboration with HR and Travel Desk.
- Plan and manage events in the Middle East and South Africa, handling all administrative aspects.
- Provide backup support for the Dubai administration team as needed.
- Available for after-hours or weekend maintenance work if necessary.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of administration or relevant experience.
- Service-oriented, approachable, and willing to go the extra mile.
- Strong team player with effective communication and interpersonal skills.
- Comfortable speaking and writing in English.
- Proficient in Excel, Word, and Microsoft 365.
- Experience in event organization is a plus.
