You will be working as Service Manager and will be part of Process Automation business area for Measurement & Analytics division based in Cairo, Egypt. In this role you will be reporting to Local/Hub Division Manager and will be responsible to develop and lead field service technical service team to achieve best in class operating metrics by building a cohesive team environment and working cross functionally to enhance performance.
Your responsibilities
- Continuously improving processes and capabilities as measured by key performance indicators of service quality and timeliness, developing customers positive experience, to insure Service Business continuity for future green and brown field
- Working with product development and marketing teams to ensure the service team and planned service center is prepared for new products and product options as well as the expected service volume
- Providing quality information to ABB measurements and analytics development teams for the enhancement of product performance
- Maintaining favorable working relationships with employees through open communication, visibility, and involvement to promote a positive working environment that maximizes safety, employee engagement, productivity and efficiency
- Continually analyzing, identifying and setting expectations to motivate the team and to achieve objectives and goals through providing feedback and recognition
- Leading, promoting and facilitating continuous improvement activities while using problem solving and lean tools to drive change, tracking service and service sales budget and developing plan to close Service Gaps to meet agreed plan goals
- Developing service sales team to expand service offering during standby times, promoting Digital Services Offering as a part from Site Proactive Service Sales Routine within any Service Visit, insure utilization of Service Platforms for IB Tracking & Service Data Records like ServIS & MyABB
Your background
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Or chemical Engineering
- Minimum 8-10 Years Service & Service Management of experience
- Advance level of expertise within analytical products specially Continue gas analysers, Gas chromatographs, FT-IT Analyzer, Extractive Laser Analysers, Liquid Analysers, in addition to instrumentation products
- Service Teams Management & Planning and Service Teams Development
- Fluency in both English & Arabic language is mandatory and French is a plus
