Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: El Sheikh Zayed, Giza

Department: Business Development

Reports To: CEO

We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Business Development Manager to join our software development company. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in driving growth and expanding our client base. You will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building relationships with potential clients, and driving revenue through strategic sales and partnerships. You must have experience in the software development industry and a deep understanding of technology solutions to tailor offerings to client needs successfully.

1- Lead Generation & Sales:

  • Identify, target, and establish relationships with potential clients and key decision-makers in various industries.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve company revenue goals.
  • Conduct market research to identify new markets, industry trends, and potential clients.
  • Qualify prospects through various channels, including cold outreach, networking events, conferences, and referrals.

2- Client Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop proposals tailored to client needs and present business solutions that align with their goals.
  • Negotiate and close contracts, ensuring mutual satisfaction and alignment with company objectives.

3- Partnership Development:

  • Foster strategic partnerships with technology vendors, agencies, and other industry players to expand our service offerings and market reach.
  • Work with cross-functional teams (product, engineering, marketing) to identify and implement new business opportunities.

4- Revenue Growth & Pipeline Management:

  • Manage the full sales pipeline from initial lead generation to contract closure, ensuring transparency and progress reporting.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets through proactive sales initiatives.
  • Track and report on KPIs such as revenue growth, client acquisition, and market expansion.

5- Market & Industry Analysis:

  • Stay up to date on industry trends, competitor activities, and potential client needs to drive innovation in our services.
  • Provide market feedback to the internal teams on product improvements and client needs.

6- Proposal Development & Presentations:

  • Work closely with the technical team to create detailed, custom proposals for software development projects.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to stakeholders, decision-makers, and senior executives.

Requirements

1- Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field. An MBA is a plus.

2- Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within a software development or technology-related industry.
  • Proven track record of closing deals and exceeding revenue targets.

3- Technical Knowledge:

  • Familiarity with software development lifecycle, technology stacks, and custom software solutions (web, mobile, cloud, etc.).
  • Ability to understand and translate technical information into business value propositions for clients.

4- Skills:

  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with a strong ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to assess client needs and propose effective solutions.
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and drive results under pressure.

5- Tools & Platforms:

  • Experience with CRM platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar.
  • Proficiency in using MS Office, Google Workspace, and presentation tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working with international clients in North America, Europe, or the MENA region.
  • Understanding of agile project management methodologies.
  • Experience in SaaS, cloud-based solutions, or digital transformation initiatives.
