About The Role
As a Planning Specialist at Red Bull Egypt, you will be supporting the Demand and Supply Planning Manager (DSP Manager) in maintaining and updating the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) system during the S&OP Cycle. This involves incorporating sales forecast changes and all supply chain assumptions, ensuring alignment with the medium and long-term business strategy. Your primary objective is to translate Red Bull's strategic plans into daily tactical actions, executing demand planning for finished goods to ensure their availability and maintain the premium brand image of Red Bull.
You will also be responsible for developing and updating demand plans for Point of Sale (POS) materials, collaborating with Sales, Trade Marketing, and Finance to gather necessary inputs. Your role will involve analyzing data to generate reports and insights that optimize supply chain efficiency for POS items. Key tasks include demand and supply planning, inventory management, and ensuring compliance with procedures.
All the responsibilities we'll trust you with:
Demand Planning
Oversee the yearly business planning cycle and coordinate meetings to gather monthly demand forecasts from different departments. Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, and Finance departments to understand the POS Portfolio and ensure accurate system data. Determine operations supply based on the demand forecast and special project requirements. Upload forecasts into SAP APO and reconcile with the Domestic SAP Planning tool. Support the achievement and reporting of forecasting targets. Meet or exceed targeted KPIs, including SKU and DC Forecast Accuracy and Service Level.
S&OP Planning
Lead and guide the monthly Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) cycle with internal stakeholders for POS plans. Conduct monthly forecast updates, considering historical data, industry trends, and market intelligence.
Supply Planning/Execution
Maintain the accuracy of Material Master Data. Manage inventory levels to support demand and prevent out-of-stock or overstock situations. Manage international and local replenishment orders and track goods in transit. Provide monthly stock, allocation, and ordering reports, highlighting supply risks and opportunities to Sales & Distribution teams. Provide the Logistics Manager with a rolling forecast for 3PLs on inbound, storage, and outbound volumes.
Process Optimization and Organizational Improvement
Help create a robust planning function to support continuous improvement. Develop and enhance planning tools to further improve the planning process. Define and implement relevant KPIs for the POS Supply Chain. Establish a network and foster collaboration with key stakeholders and Operations team members. Maintain documentation and SOPs for planning processes and systems.
Your areas of knowledge and expertise that matter most for this role:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, or a related field with undergraduate statistical analysis or engineering focus – APICS certification is a plus.
- 1-3 years of experience in various roles related to Supply Chain, such as Demand & Supply Planning, Inventory Management, and Production Management.
- Ability to develop relationships with other areas of the business, particularly the Sales, Finance, and Marketing teams.
- Proven ability to conduct complex quantitative and statistical analyses, complemented with qualitative inputs from multiple sources to draw conclusions and make recommendations.
- Self-motivated team member with strong problem-solving skills and the ability to drive resolution to issues.
- Process-oriented with a holistic view of processes and experience in change management projects.
- Strong negotiation skills with excellent communication skills, including presenting and training.
- Proven track record in driving efficiency within supply chain areas.
- Deep knowledge and experience in SAP – ERP & Planning tools, including IBP.
- Advanced MS Office skills, especially Excel, Power BI, PowerPoint, and interactive data visualization software products with a primary focus on business intelligence.
