Job Purpose

Control customers' behavior inside trains. Apply a positive Safety culture within the trains. Be mindful that Safety, Security, and the environment are everyone's responsibility, and as such ALL-staff members are accountable for reporting and intervening in Safety, Security, and Environmental violations. Fight against fraud and provide complete coverage of the stations.

Responsibilities/Duties

  • Patrol across the trains inside the determined zone.
  • Deal with the customers in a friendly way and provide a high standard of customer service by role modeling the company values and portraying a smart, helpful, and professional image to all.
  • Wear the RATP Dev Mobility Cairo outfit and badge.
  • Control any violations identified inside the trains.
  • Report any grave offenses to the supervisor.
  • Follow supervisor instructions and guidance.
  • Achieve all additional missions related to work assigned by the superiors.
  • Provide daily support to the revenue cashier.
  • Manage the flow of passengers during rush hour.
  • Participate in case of special events: For example, official visits, foreign delegation visits, school visits, etc.

When We Have The Tools To Fight Fraud

  • Fight against fraud
  • Achieve a fixed objective of controls on passengers on board trains and at station level.
  • Check passenger's tickets and apply penalties on fraudsters.
  • Contact the hierarchy in case of refusal of compliance by a passenger.
  • Participate in awareness-raising actions on fraud prevention.
  • Is present in stations to deter fraud
  • Return PVs and receipts at the end of the shift.
  • Equip yourself with the cash register.
  • Fill in the required form clarifying the number of payments claim receipts and the receipts established as well as the amount generated throughout the service.
  • Notify the hierarchy in case of cancellation of payment claim receipt or modification.

Qualifications

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE

  • Suitable University Degree.

Knowledge

  • Basic understanding of Facilities Management, Control & Security.

Experience

  • Min. 2 years of experience in Control & Security Service is preferable.
