Job Summary

MLG is seeking an experienced Financial Manager to oversee and manage the organization’s financial operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing financial strategies, ensuring financial health, and providing insights to guide the company’s decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Planning:
    • Develop and implement financial strategies aligned with the company’s goals.
    • Provide financial forecasts and risk analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Financial Operations:
    • Oversee day-to-day financial activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
    • Monitor cash flow, investments, and expense management.
  • Reporting:
    • Prepare and present financial statements, performance reports, and variance analyses to senior management.
    • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and reporting requirements.
  • Compliance & Risk Management:
    • Ensure compliance with local laws, tax regulations, and industry standards.
    • Identify and mitigate financial risks by implementing robust internal controls.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor the finance team to ensure efficiency and professional development.
    • Coordinate with external auditors and stakeholders as needed.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities for process optimization and cost savings.
    • Implement best practices in financial management.
Qualifications & Skills

  • Educational Background:
    • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field (MBA or CPA preferred).
  • Experience:
    • Proven experience as a Financial Manager or in a senior financial role, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong understanding of financial regulations and standards.
  • Technical Skills:
    • Proficiency in financial software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or Oracle).
    • Advanced knowledge of MS Excel and other reporting tools.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
    • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
