Job Description & Summary

Those in accounting at PwC will focus on managing financial records, analysing data, and assisting in compliance with accounting standards. You will play a crucial role in providing accurate financial information and insights to support decision-making.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Senior Associate E-Invoicing Specialist with a background in accounting or business to support our e-invoicing operations in Egypt.
The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring compliance with local e-invoicing regulations, assisting in the smooth transition to and management of the e-invoicing system, and providing ongoing support to both internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
E-Invoicing System Management: Assist in creation of daily e-invoices in system, ensuring compliance with Egypt's electronic invoicing regulations and guidelines set by the Egyptian Tax Authority (ETA).
Compliance and Reporting: Ensure that all e-invoices comply with local regulations, including the format, content, and timely submission to the Egyptian Tax Authority.
Provide accurate and timely reporting to meet statutory requirements.
Invoice Processing & Validation: Verify the accuracy of e-invoices generated by the system, cross-check them with the accounting records, and ensure proper validation for submission to the authorities.
Stakeholder Communication: Collaborate with internal teams (finance, accounting, IT) and external partners (suppliers, customers) to ensure seamless e-invoicing processes.
Address any concerns related to e-invoicing and provide necessary support.
Data Management & Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate records of e-invoices and ensure proper archiving in line with regulatory and audit requirements. Assist in preparing documents for audits related to e-invoicing.
Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve e-invoicing processes, increase efficiency, and reduce errors.
Support initiatives to automate and streamline invoicing operations.
Regulatory Updates: Stay updated with changes in e-invoicing regulations and requirements, ensuring the company's processes remain compliant with any new laws introduced by the Egyptian Tax Authority.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 0-1 years of experience in accounting, finance, or business operations, preferably with exposure to invoicing, billing systems, or e-invoicing processes.
- Familiarity with Egypt's e-invoicing regulations and the Egyptian Tax Authority requirements is a plus.
- Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial regulations in Egypt.
- Experience with ERP systems, accounting software, or e-invoicing platforms is preferred.
Skills
- Strong organizational and time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to spot errors in invoices and reports.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to work with diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with the ability to solve problems and improve processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) and familiarity with accounting software.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
