Our client, a leading multinational company specializing in high-quality IT infrastructure solutions for data and communication networks, is seeking to hire a Logistics Coordinator to their dream team based in their new hub in Egypt. Prior Experience in Logistics/Customer Support is a MUST.


Role Description

The Logistics Coordinator will be responsible for processing customer purchase orders and managing the logistics of shipping and receiving operations. This role involves communicating with customers, handling inquires and complaints, and ensuring that all logistics activities are carried out efficiently and effectively. 


What you'll do

  • Customer Support: Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person regarding shipping, delivery times, and order status.
  • Order Processing: Accurately process and track orders from initiation through delivery, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Coordination: Coordinate with internal departments, such as warehouse and transportation, to ensure seamless logistic operations.
  • Documentation: Prepare and manage all necessary documentation for shipments, including bills of landing, shipping labels, and customs paperwork.
  • Issue Resolution: Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies related to orders, shipments, and deliveries promptly and efficiently. 
  • Freight Negotiation: Negotiate freight charges with forwarders to secure the best rates and terms for the company.
  • Tracking and Reporting: Monitor and track shipments, providing customers with regular updates on their order status.
  • Compliance: Ensure all logistic activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and legal requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement solutions to enhance logistic efficiency and customer satisfaction. 
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transactions and interactions with customers.


Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree is a MUST. Bachelor's degree in logistics or supply chain is a big plus.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in customer support/logistics, or related field.
  • Stong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Tech savvy. Able to quickly learn new tools and software.
  • Astute problem solving in a fast-paced environment.


Additional Requirements - Huge plus if you have:

  • Solid understanding of logistic processes and documentation.
  • Familiarity with shipping regulations and customs procedures.
