Novo Nordisk has potential multiple openings for the position of Medical Representative, in the cities of Cairo, Giza, Alexandria, Canal, and Delta, those positions will be under the GLP Business Unit department. You will directly report to the District Sales Manager

The Position
As a Medical Representative, you will be representing Novo Nordisk’s vision, values, and commitments in the daily conduct with internal and external stakeholders. Not only you will be promoting and selling products to healthcare professionals, but also you will be developing and managing long-term relationships.

Your main accountabilities will be:


  • Designing, developing, and implementing the business plan for your geographical area to ensure that the company objectives and sales targets are achieved
  • Measuring, tracking, evaluating, and presenting key metrics: prescription depth and breadth planning
  • Identifying and utilizing high-potential sales opportunities along with preparing the territory plan of action to execute the sales and marketing business objectives
  • Providing customers with medical information and services consistent with their needs
  • Building sustainable relationships and customer loyalty



Qualifications

As a Medical Representative, we expect you to be a self-starter, one who can evaluate options and find resolutions on your own with minimal supervision. Nevertheless, you need to have an aptitude for learning and an ability to communicate technical and scientific product and disease management information, as well as value propositions for the product(s) under your responsibility.

To be successful in this role:


  • Bachelor’s degree in pharmacy is a must
  • 1- 3 years of experience as a Medical Representative within the pharmaceutical or healthcare industry
  • Proficiency in English and Arabic is a must
  • A valid driving license is a must
  • Experience in Diabetes or Cardiovascular is a plus
  • Proficiency in selling, presenting, and communication skills with a proficiency in establishing, developing, and maintaining long-term relationships



About The Department

The GLP-1 business unit handles Sales & Marketing activities for both therapeutic areas Diabetes and Obesity with GLP-1 products in Novo Nordisk Egypt. With a dynamic pace of work and multiple interesting projects, members of the department are continuously working on interesting and life-changing projects.
