Job Description
Job Summary:
The Logistics Coordinator is responsible for the day-to-day coordination of MSOL shipments outgoing of Dubai. The position will be working with customer care team, warehouse staff, and freight forwarders. The main objective is to prepare shipping documents and facilitate the shipments' collection from our warehouse for timely delivery to customers!
In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
- Handle Outbound shipments: PMO shipments, RMA shipments, DG shipments, Trax manual shipments and closing drop shipments in system
- Pick sales order in Oracle once instruction is received from Customer Care team and print the Oracle Pick slip report
- Pick sales order lines in FG App and print the FG App pick lists
- Handover the Oracle Pick slip and FG App pick list to warehouse team for packing and inform warehouse team for special packing requests
- Prepare shipping documents in Global Trax upon receipt of final weights and dimensions from warehouse team
- Prepare Delivery Advise and HS Summary sheet per shipment using in-house edge applications
- Share draft shipping documents with Customer Care team for shipping release from customer
- Apply Certificate of Origin in Dubai Chamber of Commerce website
- Prepare AWB’s for parcel shipments, and book shipments in SCO for heavy air shipments
- Coordinate with nominated freight forwarders to arrange collection/dispatch of goods based on the agreed Incoterms
- Forward the POD to customer care team after material is collected or handed over to the forwarder
- Close shipments in Global Trax after dispatching the shipment and update the Outbound tracker with complete shipment information
- Verify shipping documents for FANR regulated items and send the documents to reconciliation team to apply for FANR approval
- Follow up with freight forwarders for Bill of Exit copies
- Support Reconciliation team with requested documents
- Back-up FLOW shipping activities as per business needs
- Ensure all agreed metrics are measured and appropriate analysis completed
- Achieve goals and surpass agreed-upon performance metrics to ensure outstanding execution
- Pro-actively identify continuous improvement and innovation opportunities and implement related actions
- Ensure that the Emerson business processes are consistently implemented and applied
- Optimize usage and standardization of business tools in order to increase efficiency
- Any other duties are deemed appropriate by your line manager.

For This Role, You Will Need:
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience or Diploma or equivalent
- 2 - 3 years’ experience in logistics and customer support experience
Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:
- Good knowledge of Industry culture, structure and products
- Excellent Microsoft office and Adobe PDF skills
