The Role
We are looking for a competent and driven Property Management Accountant to join our thriving Middle East Property Management team in Savills Egypt. The PM Accountant is expected to be highly organized and able to work in fast-paced working environments. They must juggle multiple accounting projects and tasks at the same time and meet tight deadlines. The role will be based in
Arkan – Sheikh Zayed. Flexibility and a willing attitude are vital.
Key Responsibilities
- Record and process accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Conduct account reconciliation to verify tenant statements.
- Review and analyze accounts records, such as credit memos, invoices, tenant billings, and cash receipts
- Process cash receipts and prepare bank deposits.
- Recording PDCs on the customer advance accounts & perform monthly reconciliation for cashed cheques.
- Perform a wide variety of accounting analysis.
- Prepare journal entries and maintain the general ledger.
- Maintains open communication with accounting team and property managers.
- To provide accurate and timely financial information as required internally by management and externally by business partners.
Skills, Knowledge And Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Previous working experience in general accounting or estate property accounting from 2 to 3 years.
- Strong computer skills (MS Office, Excel) and experience with accounting ERPs.
- Written and verbal communication skills
