Key Responsibilities

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Smiles Partnership Strategy: Conceptualize, align and implement the partnership strategy for the Smiles Marketplace to deliver multi-fold growth in line with the organization’s objectives. Define a roadmap for the program aligned to strategic objectives of Etisalat, get the required buy-in from management and key stakeholders for the business plan, and implement the same in coordination with internal stakeholders and partners.
  • Partnership Management: Responsible for developing and maintaining a partner network for the Smiles Marketplace via aggregators and direct relationships –including identification, negotiation, contractual engagement, process development, and tactical program launches with the partner network. Responsible for the Etisalat Consumer partnerships to add value beyond telecom services for our customers – To be the SPOC for all Consumer related partnerships including Loyalty, Co-branded programs, Government partnerships, tactical initiatives & more, with external interactions involving Senior Management/ CXO / Senior Government officials on a daily basis
  • Partnership Development: Evaluate opportunities for new tie-ups with potential partners across industry categories to offer unique services to members and enhance revenues through partners. Support the Etisalat Consumer team on any requirements with regard to tie-ups with external partners. Manage relationship with key strategic partners to grow revenues and member base. Negotiate with external working partners and finalize/ maintain contracts. Ownership of the Smiles points’ accrual and redemption levels with the partner networks – Assume P&L responsibility for partner networks, monitoring the ROI and costs.
  • Partnership Monetization: Monetize the partnerships with co-created offerings as well as upsell / cross-sell additional services to existing partners, including sourcing of offers
  • Analytics: Drive cross-pollination across categories in the marketplace via analytics to aid partnership growth. Develop reporting and metrics for partner level growth.
  • Project Management: Manage key strategic projects that are related to Partnerships on an agile and collaborative manner, working across internal (IT/Finance/ Operations) and with external partners for timely and quality delivery of the propositions, features and capabilities.
  • Collaboration: Work with various departments within Etisalat (including Partners, IT, PD, Communications, B2B business to name a few) to execute projects and achieve KPIs, as well as with a large partner/aggregator network.
  • Ensure Compliance: To liaise with all necessary Regulatory & Security interfaces ensuring full compliance at all times.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration or Engineering
  • 8-10 years of experience in related field
