The Demand Planner will be responsible for forecasting product demand, optimizing inventory levels, and ensuring a seamless supply chain process that supports our growth objectives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain accurate demand forecasts using statistical analysis and market trends to inform production and inventory levels.
- Work closely with the commercial and marketing teams to gather insights and align forecasts with business strategies.
- Monitor inventory levels to ensure optimal stock levels are maintained, reducing excess inventory and stockouts.
- Analyze sales data, historical trends, and customer behavior to identify patterns and improve forecasting accuracy.
- Prepare and present regular reports on demand forecasts, inventory status, and supply chain performance to key stakeholders.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements in demand planning and inventory management to enhance efficiency.
- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and consumer preferences to adjust forecasts and strategies accordingly.
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in demand planning or a similar role, preferably in the FMCG sector.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in demand planning software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
