Overview

We have an exciting opportunity in the Vendor Management and Recruitment teams, we are looking for a Vendor and Recruitment Coordinator. This role will be key in ensuring we are attracting top talent for vendors and in-house employees.

The Vendor Management Team at Locaria is responsible for ensuring our Project Management teams always have access to vetted resources by constantly adding new talent to the vendor roster with which to meet the company’s needs.

The Recruitment team at Locaria is responsible for identifying, attracting, and hiring top talent to meet the company's staffing needs. We collaborate with department managers to understand their needs, contributing to the overall growth of the organization.

In addition to that, as a Vendor and Recruitment Coordinator you will be responsible for building strong bonds with our community of freelancers, keeping them engaged and making sure our projects can be assigned to the best possible fit. On the recruitment side, you will assist with sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, managing the overall candidate and hiring manager experience, developing job descriptions and coordinating the hiring process.

We are looking for a proactive professional who is capable of adapting in a fast-paced multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

Vendor Management:

  • Acting as a key support actor for our internal linguistic and non-linguistic teams to ensure their Vendor and Recruitment needs are met.
  • Maintaining strict policies and procedures regarding the addition of new talent to Locaria’s select vendor pool.
  • Keeping good relationships with our freelancer pool, while negotiating competitive rates for our projects.
  • Following processes and strategies to engage with the community to achieve business goals and integrate all activities within the company strategy.
  • Monitoring, analyzing and reporting on freelancer spent and quality.
  • Identifying potential improvements in our workflows to help us design a streamlined vendor management strategy.

Recruitment

  • Proactively source candidates, including job boards, social media, and professional networks, to ensure a strong pipeline of talent.
  • Work on building and maintaining a pipeline of qualified candidates for current and future hiring needs.
  • Support with recruitment processes, schedule interviews, coordinate candidate assessments and manage communication with candidates and hiring managers.
  • Identify opportunities to improve recruitment processes and candidate experiences, contributing to the hiring process.
  • Assist in the implementation and improvement of our ATS, ensuring it is effectively utilized to streamline recruitment processes.



Qualifications

  • Experience in Vendor Management / Recruitment, Human Resources, Supply Chain Management or similar roles will be valued.
  • University Degree in a relevant field of studies or equivalent experience.
  • Experience working with both linguistic and non-linguistic roles will be valued.
  • Excellent Written and Verbal Command of English.
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills at all levels including the ability to negotiate.
  • Strong organizational skills and time management within a fast-paced service provision environment.
  • Experienced in utilizing online recruitment channels to provide experienced providers.
  • IT skills: Intermediate to Advanced Word, Excel, Gmail and PowerPoint.
  • Pro-active approach to problem-solving / critical thinking.
