GENERAL PURPOSE
We are looking for a seasoned Cost Control Manager. This role is pivotal in managing project costs, ensuring financial integrity, and delivering comprehensive financial reports. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of project management methodologies.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop and implement cost control strategies and procedures for real estate projects
- Monitor project budgets and track actual versus planned costs
- Analyze project expenses and identify areas for cost reduction and optimization
- Collaborate with project managers and other stakeholders to ensure adherence to budgets
- Prepare and present cost reports and financial analysis to senior management
- Evaluate and negotiate vendor contracts and prices
- Implement financial controls and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures
- Stay updated on industry trends and changes in cost management practices

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Engineering, or a related field.
- Strong background in the retail industry it's a MUST
- Proven experience as a Cost Control Manager or similar role in the retail industry
- Strong knowledge of cost management principles and practices
- Proficiency in financial software and Excel
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and compliance requirements
- Experience in real estate cost control and project accounting
