Job Scope

The IT Manager is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the IT function, ensuring the effective management of IT resources, systems, and staff. This role focuses on aligning technology with business needs, maintaining IT infrastructure, managing projects, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality IT services to support organizational goals. “internal users IT operations related to desktop environments and local network administration excluding the tech team engineers/environment”

Key Accountabilities

IT Management:

  • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and procedures aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Contribute to the IT roadmap, including planning for future technology needs and budgeting.

Team Leadership

  • Supervise and mentor IT team members, ensuring professional development and high performance.
  • Allocate tasks effectively and oversee the successful completion of projects and initiatives.

IT Operations

  • Manage and maintain IT systems, networks, and infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
  • Oversee IT support services, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and customer satisfaction.

Project Management

  • Lead IT projects, including implementation, upgrades, and migrations, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and provide technical solutions.

Security And Compliance

  • Ensure IT systems comply with security standards and organizational policies.
  • Proactively identify and mitigate cybersecurity risks.

Vendor And Resource Management

  • Evaluate, select, and manage third-party vendors and service providers.
  • Negotiate contracts and ensure the quality of delivered services.

Reporting And Analysis

  • Monitor IT performance metrics and provide regular reports to senior management.
  • Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of [7-10] years.
  • Proven experience managing IT operations, projects, and teams.
