Position Summary

The Plant Controller is responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a manufacturing facility, including budgeting, forecasting, and reporting. This role involves developing, maintaining, and analyzing the plant's financial performance while providing recommendations for financial planning. Additionally, the Plant Controller ensures compliance with applicable laws and regulations and manages payment-related processes specific to the plant in Egypt. The position includes managing and coordinating the activities of two accountants.

Responsibilities

• Develop budgets and forecasts with the Operations team, ensuring all financial reports are accurate and realistic.
• Maintain and report on the plant's financial performance accurately and on time.
• Monitor and analyze plant operations and processes, providing recommendations and feedback to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• Ensure financial reports comply with accounting standards and maintain accuracy.
• Collaborate with other departments to minimize production costs and maximize profits.
• Manage the plant's inventory and fixed assets, providing financial advice and guidance to plant management.
• Troubleshoot and address operational issues while developing and implementing process improvements.
• Manage and coordinate the activities of the Finance and Controllership (F&C) team.
• Ensure all payment processes related to the plant are well managed
  
  

What we are looking for

• A bachelor's degree in Finance or a related field.
• Proficiency in plant engineering processes and systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• At least five years of experience in a financial supervisory or management position.
• Five or more years of experience in plant controlling.
• Ability to analyze issues and resolve them effectively and efficiently.
• Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
• Outstanding organizational skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills at all levels, both internally and externally.
• High proficiency in Excel.
• Excellent time management skills and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
