As a Senior Legal Counsel, you will work closely with our General Counsel to handle all complex corporate and commercial legal matters and projects, as part of the Legal team across dubizzle Group.

In this role, you will:

Oversee all commercial / TMT legal matters mainly focussing on commercial, TMT, IP and data protection;
Oversee corporate legal matters focusing on M&A and/or joint venture transactions, due diligence, and drafting and negotiating transaction and ancillary documents;
Be the main point of contact for any UAE commercial legal advice;
Supervise, mentor and monitor the performance of team members. Identify and encourage areas for growth and personal development;
Help put processes and systems in place in respect of commercial legal matters in the UAE and the wider group;
Stay up-to-date with the legislative changes.

متطلبات الوظيفة

Qualified lawyer with a Bachelor’s degree in Law.
Minimum PQE 6-10 years of experience in an international law firm or multinational organisation;
Proven background in commercial and corporate law.
Must be able to function effectively in a busy, team-oriented environment;
Excellent academics, drafting skills and the ability to grasp and navigate complex legal matters;
Well-organised and capable of managing multiple matters efficiently and prioritising appropriately;
Flexibility and willingness to work in other practice areas, corporate law etc;
Articulate, with strong commercial acumen.
