LAWAZEM is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our team. As a General Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and analysis. Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger accounts, balance sheets, and profit and loss statements
- Assist in month-end and year-end close processes by preparing journal entries, reconciling accounts, and performing account analysis
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
- Process and review accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions
- Monitor cash flow and manage bank reconciliations
- Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports to regulatory authorities
- Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial projections
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and provide insights for decision-making

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- Proven work experience as a General Accountant or similar role
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- CPA qualification is a plus
