Technical Product Owner

Job Purpose  

As a Technical Product Owner, you will lead and own products and services that deliver a seamless and compliant payment experience for customers across multiple regions. You will also serve as the main technical contact for any integration, overseeing the scoping and analysis of new projects or changes from a technical perspective. Additionally, you will assess whether the proposed solutions align with the current system, advising on necessary adjustments if they do not. 

Roles and Responsibilities 

• Collaborate with payment gateway providers, and other external partners to build and maintain strong relationships. 

• Drive the integration of various payment gateways into our systems, ensuring compatibility, security, and performance. 

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Account Managers, Finance, TAM, and Engineering teams to deliver seamless merchant experiences and drive continuous improvements. 

• Work closely with external partners to explore and implement new payment methods, technologies, and features. 

• Leverage project management and technical consulting skills to oversee high-quality project delivery, guaranteeing the technical integrity of merchant integrations. 

• Provide consultation on optimizing payment solutions, including checkout experiences, authentication, and platform onboarding, while collaborating with Developers and TAM to enhance the platform. 

• Be a key source of knowledge on the MondiaPay platform and APIs, and industry-standard integration methods and best practices. 

• Specify detailed requirements for the core platform, including defining and aligning the organization around the implementation of the payment standards and APIs that will enable our merchants to effectively integrate with us. 

• Drafts user stories and ensures they are clearly understood by the cross functional product teams 

• Ensures Product requirements are gathered and prioritized 

• Drives the execution of product development in collaboration with Product Team members comprised of Product Design, Technology & Data Science 

• Participate and support in UATs (User Acceptance Testing).
