Head of Finance

Company Profile:

A leading IT reseller and system integrator specializing in B2B solutions, serving governments, banks, and large organizations across Saudi Arabia.

Position Overview:

The Head of Finance will lead the accounting and finance department and drive improvements in financial management, budgeting, compliance, and operational efficiency. The role will involve strategic oversight, collaboration with senior leadership, and managing critical projects such as implementing a new ERP system and preparing for an IPO.

Responsibilities:

• Accounting and Finance Management: Oversee the accounting team (12 accountants), ensuring accurate reporting, compliance, and financial controls
• Budgeting and Planning: Establish and lead the company’s budgeting process, aligning it with organizational goals
• IPO Preparation: Act as the program manager for the IPO process, coordinating with financial advisors and third-party consultants for financial due diligence (FDD)
• ERP Integration: Support the transition to a new ERP system and repurpose manual roles to strategic functions such as financial analysis and planning
• Financial Reporting: Ensure quarterly reviewed financial statements and annual audited financial statements are completed on time as per CMA regulations
• Internal Audit Collaboration: Work with the internal audit committee and internal auditor to address any inquiries
  
  

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a senior finance leadership position in a contracting company (e.g., construction, medical device projects, or wholesale distribution)
• Strong background in accounting; certifications such as CPA or CMA are beneficial but not mandatory
• Experience in preparing companies for IPOs or working in publicly listed companies is highly desirable
• Demonstrated ability to implement financial technologies and drive process improvements
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to elevate team capabilities
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with Bilingual Fluency in English and Arabic
